Today I am sharing a children's book that I have made on google slides. The books is called Birthday Surprise.
This book is about a little boy called Peter and he has an amazing surprise present that ends up very big. He says "This is the best present in my whole life." I hope you enjoy this lovely book for kids.

Kia ora Lucy, you can be super proud of your book! Your sentences are well written with great use of punctuation. Each picture matches the words and helps to tell the story - tino pai! What a lovely surprise for Peter - seeing a special friend is a wonderful gift.

Kia ora Lucy, thank you for sharing your children's book on your blog. The front page of your book is lovely and bright with all of the balloons and would appeal to lots of children. I love the suspense of the what the surprise could have been. Well done on using dialogue between characters in your story. Do you think you could have challenged yourself to use words other than 'said' in this dialogue?
