Kia ora Lucy, thank you for sharing your mahi (work) with us. I enjoyed looking at your slides; the diagram on Slide 4 is clear and well labelled. Here's an interesting fact I found online at National Geographic Kids: Lava from a volcano can reach 1,250°C!

Morena Lucy, thank you for sharing your writing about volcanoes on your blog. I really like that adjectives you have used to describe the boiling molten rock and the lightning in the sky. They help to paint a clear image in my mind. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI think that if you were close to an erupting volcano it could be a horrifying sight. Did you know that erupting volcanoes can have their create their own weather systems?
